Senior Director of Tutoring Partnerships
Location: Remote / Hybrid (EST preferred for team alignment)
The Opportunity
Guidewell Education is entering a high-growth phase, expanding our reach and scaling our partnership model. We are seeking a Senior Director of Tutoring Partnerships to lead our business development efforts across our tutoring brands, including Applerouth Education and Summit Educational Group. This is a strategic leadership role designed for a "builder" who can align a talented, relationship-focused team with data-driven results.
The Role
You aren’t just running a sales team; you are architecting the future of Guidewell Education’s tutoring partnerships. As a brand-agnostic leader within the Guidewell Education family of client-facing brands, you will lead our talented, mission-driven team to scale their work and achieve their growth goals.
Key Objectives:
- Drive Strategic Growth: Oversee team efforts to exceed school and educational consultant lead goals across multiple brands and markets.
- Build Scalable Systems: Develop the reporting cadences, dashboards, and manual workarounds needed to align team activity to goal-attainment.
- Lead Cultural Change: Scaffold our highly experienced and mission-driven team to thrive and succeed in a high-growth business environment.
What You Bring
- Strategic Sales Leadership: 7+ years of business development experience, with a proven ability to act as the "face of the business".
- People-First Management: You are 70% results-driven salesperson and 30% patient coach—capable of driving a team to hit numbers while keeping them motivated and happy.
- Operational Scrappiness: You don’t wait for the perfect CRM; you are a proactive self-starter who can build tracking systems from the ground up.
- High Emotional Intelligence: You are humble and collegial, naturally balancing a focus on "what are we trying to get done today" with a deep enjoyment for team collaboration.
- Agility: You can "roll with the punches" of an M&A growth environment where service lines and brand boundaries are nimble and evolving.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional presence for client-facing webinars and conference presentations.
